National Lottery Awards in grey

Entries to the 2009 National Lottery Awards are now open. Now in their sixth year, the Awards aim to find “the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects”.
All Lottery-funded projects, large or small, can be nominated by the public or can enter themselves. There are seven categories, each reflecting an area of Lottery funding: Sport, Heritage, Arts, Environment, Voluntary/Charity, Health and Education.
Since The National Lottery began nearly 15 years ago, over £22 billion has been granted to projects across the UK.
The finalists will be featured on a prime-time BBC1 TV show later this year, and the winner will receive a £2,000 cash prize.
Entries must be received by 5pm on 13 March 2009.
