Charity donation adds 'Cred' to Payne Security

Payne Security has supplied complimentary lanyards to UK charity The Cred Foundation (www.cred.org.uk) to support a life-changing project in Ethiopia.
‘The Zone’ is an initiative run by The Cred Foundation (www.cred.org.uk) that takes young people from all over the UK to assist an international project called IHA-UDP (www.ihaudp.org), which is run by, and for, impoverished local people in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). The children – representing a wide spectrum of schools, regions and backgrounds – spend a week providing activities, games and sports for children in the slums of Addis Ababa.
The Cred Foundation needed lanyards to carry the name badges used by the participating children and teachers for the latest ‘Zone’ trip – held in October – and placed an order with Payne Security. Yet when the company heard about the worthy cause, Payne Security decided to supply 50 promotional lanyards free of charge.
“We’re always happy to help good causes, and ‘The Zone’ is of real benefit both to the people of Addis Ababa and those travelling from the UK,” explains Richard Burhouse, Business Development Manager at Payne Security.
