Giving 2 launches online shopping mall to benefit charities

Howard Lake | 9 December 2008 | News

Giving 2 has launched an online shopping site which will donate a percentage of all sales to its partner schools, churches and charities in the UK. It aims in particular to help smaller local charities.
The site features over 100 retailers including Grattan, Halfords, Toys R Us, Comet, and Wicks.
Users can earn up to 50% of the profit from every purchase for their chosen local group.
Giving 2 claim that “the scheme is unlike any other local fundraising initiative and uses our shopping needs as a platform for giving”.
National charities that will benefit include Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Sue Ryder Care, and Barnado’s.
