Howard Lake | 27 October 2008 | News

Next month the Directory of Social Change will publish the first edition of The Funders’ Almanac, an analysis of giving by grant-making trusts, companies and central government to the voluntary and community sector.
Based on data collected from over 3,000 funders, it presents analysis of the geographical distribution of grants and cash donations throughout the UK, the types of beneficiaries and causes supported, and the funding provided by a range of programmes from the government.
The book has been edited by J Kennedy, A Rosser, T Traynor and B Wittenberg. It will be available from 5 November 2008 but pre-orders can now be made at DSC. It costs £50.
