New Head of Fundraising at Concern Worldwide UK

Sanjeev Gupta has been appointed as Head of Fundraising at international development charity Concern Worldwide UK.
He joins Concern from One Parent Families|Gingerbread, where he was Director of Fundraising and Communications. He has held various senior posts in other charities including Médecins Sans Frontières Holland, British Heart Foundation, Amnesty International UK and Cancer Research Campaign.
Gupta said: “This is a challenging time for everyone, but there are huge opportunities and I will be working with my team to show that that it these moments that define us and make us stand out”.
He is already committed to running the 2009 London Marathon to raise funds for Concern.
Gupta is also a Trustee of Medic Alert Foundation British Isles and Ireland, a charity that provides a life-saving identification system for individuals with hidden medical conditions and allergies.
