July 31 deadline for Vodafone grants

The Vodafone Foundation in Ireland is inviting applications for level 2 and level 3 grants up until Thursday 31st July 2008. Level 2 grants provide funding for projects up to €80,000 while level 3 is a €100,000 fund to support capacity building in the voluntary sector.
Awards will be made on the basis of yearly to three yearly grants. The Foundation is open to receiving “applications of interest” from charities whose projects meet the designated criteria. The Foundation is particularly interested in projects whose main objective is to improve the lives of children, young people and families facing adversity.
A new “Sports & Music Category” has been created in the Level 2 funding to concentrate on interesting and innovative sports or music projects.
