New Chief Executive at TimeBank

Volunteering charity TimeBank has appointed Helen Walker, currently Director of Fundraising at the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA), as its new Chief Executive.
Walker joined SSAFA in 2002 as Assistant Director before being promoted to Director, and has substantially increased the charity’s fundraising with key developments in corporate and event fundraising.
In her six years with the charity, SSAFA has been the nominated charity for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, The Telegraph Christmas Appeal and is in the process of completing a £5 million emergency capital appeal to provide two ‘homes from home’ for the families of injured servicemen and women.
She takes up the post in July.
