World Vision has announced the date for its annual ’24 Hour Famine’ as 14-16 March 2008.

The 2008 campaign, which aims to raise funds for street children in Chennai, India, encourages young people across the UK to be sponsored to go without something important to them for one day.

Now in its 22nd year, the 24 Hour Famine event has helped to raise over £20 million for various projects around the world.
