Reaching Communities to be re-launched
Following a review of Reaching Communities programme Northern Ireland, the programme will be re-launched and new application materials will be available on the Big Lottery website from 6th September 2007. The revised programme ./guidance notes will provide detailed information on how to apply and confirm all relevant dates for the programme.
Approximately £18 million is available from 2006 up until 2009 to voluntary and community led organisations. Reaching Communities will fund projects for three to five years and the grant size is £100,000 to £500,000, with 90% of funding for revenue costs.
The September 2007 deadline for full applications has been moved to 23rd January 2008 but an Outline Proposal Form has to be submitted by 7th November. The deadlines of May 2008 (Outline Proposal, March 2008) and September 2008 (Outline Proposal, June 2008) remain the same. All applicants will need to submit their applications on the revised Outline proposal and full application forms.
