BG Energy Challenge raises over £205,000 in three days

This weekend more than 30 companies from within the energy industry took part in the three day long BG Energy Challenge 2007 – UK to raise over £205,000 for charity. The funds will be divided between CARE International and SPARKS, the overseas development and children’s medical research charities.

The annual event hosted by global natural gas business BG Group, saw more than 200 team members, including global directors from teams including Accenture, BP, Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, travel to Stirling, Scotland to take on the series of tough physical, mental and strategic challenges.

After six tough stages the impressive winner was the team from Western Geco from Gatwick.
