New issue of Voluntary Sector Legal Handbook due out later this year

Howard Lake | 9 May 2007 | Blogs

Voluntary sector legal and governance trainer Sandy Adirondack is taking advance orders for the third edition of the “Voluntary Sector Legal Handbook”, which is to be renamed the “Russell-Cooke Voluntary Sector Legal Handbook”. This guide is one of the Directory of Social Change’s bestsellers, and rightly so as it offers extensive and practical advice and commentary on the key areas of charity law.
Specifically it covers charity law, company law, employment, equal ops, health & safety, finance, fundraising, information, intellectual property, property, public activities, campaigning, human rights, and other key issues.
Sandy said that she is hoping tat it will be published in November 2007, but warned that this date could slip. “It takes a long time and a lot of work to produce 1,000 pages of updated law” she commented.
The new edition costs £60 for charities and other voluntary organisations, £90 for public or private sector, + 10% p&p.
Advance orders can be placed via Sandy Adirondack‘s website.
