Converse shoe for MacmillanMacmillan Cancer Support launches its Pin Up campaign today to encourage the public to donate and show that they care for those affected by cancer by wearing the new Macmillan green safety pin. The pin will help raise funds and awareness of Macmillan.

The safety pin can be worn in many ways – on a mobile phone, from a charm bracelet, jeans, trainers, handbag, cap or simply on a lapel.

Supporters logging on to the Pin Up microsite to buy a pin, will be able to view a gallery of celebrities who have already pinned up to support Macmillan, these include newsreader Kay Burley, Actress Sam Bond, jeweller Stephen Webster and the three political party leaders.

The pin is available from today for a suggested donation of £1 from the microsite and from a selection of Macmillan’s high street partners; Somerfield, JJB Sports, Whittards, Julian Graves and Ford. Alliance & Leicester and Nationwide will have pins from May onwards.
