Outbound telemarketing agency Personal Telephone Fundraising Ltd has joined the new Fundraising Standards Board (FSB) self-regulatory scheme.

The FSB, which launches to the public next month, works to ensure that organisations raising money from the public do so honestly and properly.

Rob Reaks, CEO at PTF, which works with 30 UK charities, said: “It is vital that all agencies working with not-for-profit clients attain the highest standards of best practice and that, whilst complaints from supporters are rare, a robust and effective complaints procedure is in operation. We are totally committed to providing this for our clients, and fully support the aims of the FSB.”

Members of the FSB scheme follow the Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Fundraising Practice and comply with the key principles embodied in the Codes and in the FSB Promise.
