DialogueDirect uses MySpace to recruit street fundraisers

While a growing number of charities are developing presences on social networking sites, far fewer fundraising consultancies and agencies have done so. DialogueDirect, however, the international face-to-face fundraising company, is one of the few that has done so.
It has developed a distinctive page style, published adverts for new recruits; posted blog entries, videos and photos; and currently has 1,554 ‘friends’, who have contributed 81 comments. One of its two videos not surprisingly sings the praises of face-to-face fundraising with interviews with some of its fundraisers:
