British Polio Fellowship's diamond ring fundraising success with jewellers F. Hinds

British Polio Fellowship's Diamond Ring Fund Raising Success with Jewellers F. Hinds
Ann Moore was more than delighted to win the British Polio Fellowship’s star national raffle prize – an 18ct white gold and diamond cluster ring valued at £1,999.00 dotted with 2 carats of brilliant cut diamonds – donated by jewellers F. Hinds recently. The presentation by Sir Bryan Askew (Chairman – British Polio Fellowship) took place at F. Hinds’ Kirkgate Centre, Bradford store.
There was considerable poignancy in the win as well. Ann and her husband had long discussed replacing her original engagement ring, but unfortunately Ann’s husband died before that happened. Imagine her delight, exactly on the date of what would have been her 43rd Wedding Anniversary, when the letter confirming her win arrived. It was as if my husband had sent me exactly the engagement ring that I had always wanted – even more fantastic was that the ring fitted perfectly and it looks just right”.
We were delighted to support this charity”, said Director Andrew Hinds, and even more pleased that they raised the highest amount ever – £20,919 for this year’s Summer Raffle compared to £19,430 last year. That’s a remarkable achievement and we are so pleased that we could help”.
