CTT launches international online donations service

Charity clients of Charity Technology Trust (CTT) will now be able to accept donations from around the world in US dollars and euros as well as sterling.

The multicurrency option is a new feature on CTT’s card payment processing system – CP TERMINAL. This secure system has been used in the commercial sector for over five years and currently processes over £4 billion of transactions each year, say CTT.

As well as accepting online donations, CP TERMINAL enables a charity to process all credit and debit card donations received by post through any office PC with Internet access.

The web browser-based CP TERMINAL enables charities to process and authorise each transaction in real time. It also processes the Gift Aid element of donations and produces automatic Gift Aid claim reports.
