Bank offers community grants

The Northern Bank has announced a new programme providing grass roots support to local projects promoting Knowledge, Culture and Sport. Each of Northern Bank’s four regions across Northern Ireland will allocate funds locally with the support of external representatives from the world’s of knowledge, culture and sport.

Local projects may apply for a grant by completing the short application form available for download from the website and currently available at the counter in all Northern Bank branches. The total amount allocated to the programme is £100,000, with grants being offered between £500 and £5,000.

Completed application forms should be returned to any Northern Bank branch.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 12pm on 24th November 2006.

The first Northern Bank Community Grants will be distributed in December
2006 and two allocations will be made in 2007.
