Competition for small charities to win fundraising appeal package

Howard Lake | 5 November 2006 | News

New fundraising consultancy Real World Fundraising is offering charities with an annual income of under £250,000 the chance to win one of its fundraising packages.

The prize is the Trust Core Funding Package, an appeal carried on the charity’s behalf, which normally costs £3,500, which targets individuals who donate through small personal and family trusts.

Caroline Hamilton, founder of Real World Fundraising said: “We are aware that smaller charities often struggle to find core funding and are pleased to be able to offer this appeal to one charity on a pro bono basis.”

She added that clients choosing the Trust Core Funding Package do so “at no risk”. She explained: “In the highly unlikely event that income from the appeal does not exceed the fee charged, the full fee will be returned to the charity.”

To apply for the free package, email Caroline Hamilton for details and an application form. Applicants will be asked to outline, in up to 100 words, why their charity should be selected to win the appeal package.

The closing date for receiving completed entries is 13 November 2006.
