Parkinson's Disease Society launches DRTV ad

Howard Lake | 13 October 2006 | News

The Parkinson’s Disease Society has launched its first DRTV campaign called ‘Let the cat out’.

It focuses on how difficult it is for people who suffer from the disease to perform simple everyday tasks. The adverts feature a couple chatting in their living room. The man, a Parkinson’s Disease sufferer, describes at length the enormous difficulties involved in letting their cat out of the house.

The campaign – developed by Grey London – will be supported later in the year by press advertising and will focus on how difficult it is for people who suffer from the condition to perform simple everyday tasks. It is designed as an awareness raising campaign as well as a fundraising appeal.
