Nick Streeter of the ACE Centre has reviewed the Directory of Social Change’s Guide to Major Trusts volume one. How does the book format measure up in these days of online funding directories?
Nick agrees that the book still lives up to its reputation and highlights some of its particularly useful elements, including the diary section.
He concludes that it “should be seen for what it is, a fantastic starting point for the trust fundraiser and a key part of the trust fundraisers ‘toolkit’ along online research, and indeed using other DSC publications.”

Despite its limitations he believes “the book continues to be the trust fundraisers ‘bible’ and one to have on the shelf year after year.”
