Church Times appoints Baigent to develop website

Howard Lake | 20 July 2006 | News

The Church Times has appointed charity website development agency, Baigent, to re-design and develop a new content managed online subscription news site.

Baigent’s brief is to update and enhance the Church Times’ existing website’s design and capability to provide a high impact online presence, together with an effective and innovative online subscription facility for readers. In addition, the provision of Baigent’s content management system will ensure the seamless streamlining of the editorial and production processes involved in creating an online edition of the newspaper.

Founded in 1863, Church Times is the world’s leading weekly Anglican newspaper. Independent of the Church of England hierarchy, Church Times was originally formed to campaign for Anglo-Catholic principles, but in the 1940’s and 50’s broadened its outlook and coverage.
