Vodafone to announce new guidelines in Autumn

Vodafone Ireland Foundation, the charitable arm of the eponymous mobile phone company, will announce new guidelines in the Autumn. The company has signalled its intention to move away from smaller and medium grants to larger support that follows the ‘partnership’ model.

Vodafone Ireland Foundation (VIF) is a registered charity, launched in September 2003. VIF believes that it can make the most significant difference by providing support to projects that have the ultimate aim of being sustainable.

Historically the Vodafone Ireland Foundation’s grant-making has been through a variety of small and medium grants. However, it will in the future make fewer, larger grants so that it can actively partner with recipients to add value to projects and outcomes.
