Action Medical Research has been awarded a Gold Quality Mark Award by the Charities Aid Foundation in recognition of the the fact that 27% of its staff give to charity by payroll giving.

The award is given to any organisation which has more than 10% of its staff taking part in the Give As You Earn scheme, donating money to charity through the payroll.

At Action Medical Research, over 27% of staff donate through the payroll giving scheme, giving a total of almost £200 a month. Two thirds of the participants of the scheme give their money back to Action Medical Research, and others give through their pay packets to an alternative chosen cause.
