Institute's in-house communications team expands with second Press Officer

Diana Mackie has joined the Institute of Fundraising as Press Officer. Working in the Institute’s PR & Communications team, she will be responsible for communicating the work of the Institute to charities, donors, the general public and all other relevant audiences through the media.

Diana joins the Institute from Sense where she was Press and PR Assistant, working to publicise the charity’s fundraising initiates in relevant press. She has two years’ experience of working in PR and at the Institute will work alongside fellow Press Officer, Nandini Chatto, reporting to Lucinda Frostick, Head of PR & Communications.

Commenting on her new role, Diana said:
I am looking forward to the opportunity of communicating key Institute initiatives – such as the importance of tax-effective giving to charities and to promote the vital work of fundraisers to a broad media audience.”
