CAF Online to combine online services in one place

Howard Lake | 8 April 2006 | News

Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) is to redesign its main corporate website to bring together all its online services in one place. The development represents a move away from the charity’s policy of developing separate sites for its different services such as efundraising.org and allaboutgiving.org.

The new corporate CAF site will combine news, events and key statistics about the charitable sector with the tools and features that are currently available at allaboutgiving.org, givenow.org and efundraising.org.

The new site will continue to offer distinct services to its different audiences of individuals, charities and companies.

Individual donors or would-be donors will be able to use an enhanced Charity Search, with a database of over 220,000 charities; open and manage online a CAF Charity Account; donate online via credit or debit card or Charity Account; and find information about local volunteering opportunities.

Companies will find information about investing in their local community; opening a CAF Company Account; setting up a Give As You Earn scheme; and ideas on involving employees in their community programme.

Charities will be able to register for and manage CAF’s Efundraising service; find details on CAF’s banking and investment services; and information on the funding solutions it offers.

Charity staff will also be able to book online for CAF’s training courses.
