Seminar planned on companies' role in the communty

In recognition of the growing importance of Corporate Social Responsibility in Ireland, Chambers Ireland, in association with the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, will host a half-day seminar on Thursday, 6th April at the Radisson SAS St. Helens, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4 from 9am – 2pm. The event aims to inform Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) about CSR and equip them with the know-how needed to integrate successful CSR programmes into their business activities.

Minister of State at the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Noel Ahern, will address the seminar and Steve Costello, chair of NI Consumer Council and board director of Business in the Community will chair the seminar.

Other speakers include Anne Heraty, CEO, Cpl, Tom Daly, MD, TSA Consulting,
Olivia Dobbs, Corporate Responsibility Manager, Vodafone Ireland, John Curran, Group Environmental Executive, Musgrave Group and Seán Murphy, Director of Policy, Chambers Ireland.
