“Major Donors: Finding Big Gifts in Your Database and Online”, featuring a chapter by UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake, will be published in April 2006 by John Wiley & Sons. It is designed to help managers, staff, and volunteers develop Internet and database prospecting strategies as an integral part of their overall fundraising plans.

As well as information on developing Internet and database prospecting strategies, the book covers key issues including information privacy and accountability.

One of its aims is to show both fundraisers and researchers the relevance of each other’s roles and the need to at least understand better what each other does.
