TK Maxx and Cancer Research to run GiveGet clothing collection campaign again

Howard Lake | 31 January 2006 | News

Retailer TK Maxx is teaming up with Cancer Research UK for a second time to host GiveGet this spring and raise funds to help more people survive cancer.

The campaign aims to encourage people to spring clean their homes, clear out their wardrobes and donate items they no longer want or use to help raise funds.

GiveGet first ran in September 2004 and raised donated items worth £1.28 million. This year, TK Maxx aims to raise £2 million by utilising its nationwide store network as drop off points for donations during 18th March – 2nd April. All stock donated will be sold in Cancer Research UK’s 630 shops.
