Toshiba Information Systems UK is donating £25,000 this year to Surrey-based charity Disability Challengers. The contribution will support the organisation’s youth group, which enables young disabled people to participate in a diverse range of activities designed to promote learning, social skills and leisure.

As part of the project named ‘Yo Toshiba!’, Disability Challengers will organise games and activities appropriate to young people age 12 – 25, including group outings to the cinema, theatre, bowling, theme parks and eating out.

“We are excited to be able to contribute to Disability Challengers’ youth programme of activities,” said Alan Thompson, CEO of Toshiba Information Systems UK. “Toshiba has a long-standing commitment to supporting our local community and particularly to providing young people with opportunities to learn and have fun.”
