Council seeks charity to run rubbish dump recycling shop
Warwickshire County Council is looking for a charity to run a recycling shop in Leamington which will sell items left at the town’s refuse tip but deemed suitable for selling.
The scheme is modelled on a successful initiative, the first of its kind in the UK, run by the Shakespeare Hospice at Burton Farm, near Stratford, which has raised over £150,000.
Interested charities will need to complete a council tender form indicating how they will manage the shop effectively.
