Animal sanctuary saves £100 a month with refill toner

Weardale Animal Sanctuary, near Bishop Auckland in County Durham, is saving around £100 month on printing its supporter newsletter in-house by using refill toner from TonerTopUp.

The charity, run by Sally and Dave Rowley and their daughters, Joanne and Nicole, has published a monthly magazine, “Absolutely Animals”, for two years. The magazine updates supporters on the latest happenings at the santuary’s Hope House Farm and is a key part of its fundraising.
When Joanne first started the magazine, the job was put out to printers at a cost of £300-£400 per month. Now they are printing themselves that cost has been reduced to about £150 a month. By using refill toner from TonerTopUp rather than buying replacement cartridges each time for their printer, they are making monthly savings of about £100.

TonerTopUp, based in Westerham, Kent, provides refills for laser printers, faxes or photocopiers. “Laser toner cartridges can often be refilled several times before they need replacing, ” says Martin Young of TonerTopUp. “Each time you can save up to 85% against the list price of a new cartridge.”
