New training course on fundraising in a crisis

Company Solutions (UK) has developed a new one-day training course for organisations that find themselves in a fundraising crisis.

Trainer Gareth Edwards created the course because he was contacted so often by charities and organisations in the throes of a funding or fundraising crisis.

The course includes an assessment of an organisation’s current fundraising, prepared in advance; improving grant applications; developing a donor programme effectively from scratch; contact mapping – who within your organisation knows useful contacts and how to approach them; and exploring some of the possible ‘quick win’ options such as events, trading and other activities.

The course concludes with a look at risk management techniques, diversification of funding streams and a session on building for the future.

The course costs £500 + expenses for up to 36 staff and/or volunteers.
