Pi record breaker raises £2,000 for NSE

Daniel Tammet has raised £2,000 for the National Society for Epilepsy by setting a European record for recalling the mathematical constant Pi to 22,514 decimal places.
The success of Daniel’s ‘Pi in the Sky’ sponsored challenge has enabled NSE to launch a new leaflet on epilepsy and memory.
Personal pledges raised more than £1,000, and event sponsors SHL, objective assessment experts, matched this amount with a further £1,000.
