National BEN day launched

July 19 2004 has been designated the first National BEN Day by BEN, the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund.
The first National BEN Day coincides with the Fund’s birthday on 19 July and will act as a focus for employees from across the motor industry raise funds for the charity, one year ahead of its centenary.
The Fund is setting every organisation that participates the challenge of raising £99 to reflect its 99 years, and it has put together a toolkit of fundraising ideas to assist participating firms reach this figure.
