Electrical retailer Comet has raised £150k for its corporate charity partner, NCH, the children’s charity in the first year of the relationship, and has announced its plans to extend the partnership until at least January
2005.

NCH and Comet began working together in May 2003 and since then staff have been getting involved in activities ranging from trekking in Morocco to selling pin badges in-stores to running the London marathon.

In addition NCH and Comet have been working together to highlight the importance of Internet safety for children, with a series of Internet safety seminars held in Comet stores last September. Comet has also begun pre-installing PCs with parental control software.
