Blackbaud Europe's new MD introduces new functions
Blackbaud Europe, under its new Managing Director Paul Steadman, has introduced a number of new facilities in its The Raiser’s Edge® fundraising database.
After taking over from Walter Miller Paul Steadman has led an extensive review of the organisation and its activities, resulting in changes to strengthen personnel in key areas and the introduction of enhancements to the services on offer.
One of the major new services is Blackbaud’s Opportunity Assessment which invites organisations to take advantage of a “free of charge, without-obligation procedure” which should enable them to identify areas where they could be increasing income or reducing costs and how The Raiser’s Edge can help them to do this.

In addition several enhancements have been made to The Raiser’s Edge around its regular giving functionality. The new features are designed to make the processing of regular gifts even easier and make regular giving programmes much more effective. New tools on offer include specialised import facilities, automated processing of regular transactions, missed payment monitoring, targeting reports and upgrade tracking.
To coincide with these new features, Blackbaud’s next seminar on 25 June 2004 in London will focus on the subject of regular giving. Guest speaker David Dixon of David Dixon Associates will share his experiences of implementing and enhancing many regular giving programmes, and attendees will be given the opportunity to see the new features in The Raiser’s Edge.
