Are young people givers or takers?

G-Nation is once again offering a prize of £500 to one of the 11-16 year olds who answers the question “are you a giver or a taker?”

The Giving Nation’s survey “is a quest to discover the morality of the UK’s youth”. It asks them: if you were given £500 what would you do with it? How much would you keep and how much would you give to charity?

Results will be announced in one month and the winner is the person selected
from the majority vote, e.g. £300 keep, £200 give away. The winner will then receive the £500 to spend in exactly that way. Last year’s winner voted to give half and take half.

Giving Nation is an independent national initiative that works with secondary education to get more of the UK’s youth involved in charity. The campaign is anchored around G-Week, which takes place 26 June – 2 July and is a week-long celebration of school charity activity throughout
the year.
