Howard Lake | 28 April 2004 | News

The fundraising, membership, marketing and events database package from Sussex-based Fisk Brett has been selected by a range of new clients.

Fisk Brett’s new clients include The Children’s Trust, Action for Blind People, the International Institute of Strategic Studies, London Wildlife Trust, the British
Polio Fellowship, inIVA, and the Women’s Resource Centre.

The clients will be using the software in a variety of ways. For example, the International Institute for Strategic Studies
(IISS) will be using Progress primarily to manage their membership base, which includes 3,000 members in over 100 countries. inIVA (institute of international visual artists) on the other hand will be using Progress on a wider basis for contact management, fundraising, and marketing.

One of the new organisations is a previous Progress user: it is returning after a break trying an outsourced solution. The London Wildlife Trust will now be using Progress to handle their membership, fundraising, and direct debits. Fisk Brett say that this means that “nearly half of all Wildlife Trusts in the UK now use Progress.”

Fisk Brett will also be working with Action for Blind People to further develop Progress to be used by visually impaired users.

Progress now has over 600 users in 140 organisations.
