Second Dog Day for Macmillan

Howard Lake | 12 June 2003 | News

With sponsorship from Pedigree, Macmillan Cancer Relief will build on the success of last year’s Macmillan Dog Day and run a second Day, aiming to raise over £40,000.

The second Macmillan Dog Day will be held on Tuesday 8th July at the South Grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London. The event combines a family orientated afternoon of celebrity judged dog classes and professional dog displays with a glittering event in the evening for some of the charity’s supporters.

Jenny Edwards, Head of Events at Macmillan said: “Macmillan Dog Day is a unique event idea with a very different feel to our usual social events. We knew we would need to invest in the event this year in order to build on last year’s success and securing sponsorship will help us to do that.”
