The 50 most influential people in fundraising?

Professional Fundraising magazine is asking readers to vote for the 50 people who will have the greatest impact on fundraising over the next 12 months.

The results will be published in the July issue of Professional Fundraising, which will be available at the Institute of Fundraising convention.

The magazine is clear about whose names they are asking for: “we must make it clear this is not about recognition for great fundraising: these are not fundraising awards.” They believe that there will be very few fundraisers on the list for the simple fact that, “apart from the few fundraisers who are developing innovative and far reaching methods of fundraising, just doing the task of fundraising, almost by definition, is unlikely to have a great influence on the rest of the profession.”
