New chief executive at the Peace Hospice

Anna Anderson has joined the Peace Hospice as Chief Executive, taking over from Noel Ratcliffe who has been acting Chief Executive.

For the past 20 years Anna has worked in the NHS, mainly in London and Bedfordshire. Anna was Finance Director and then Deputy Chief Executive at Luton & Dunstable Hospital for a number of years and has most recently moved from being Director of Performance at South West London Strategic Health Authority.

The Peace Hospice in Watford has for 11 years provided medical, clinical, spiritual and social care, for up to 75 patients a week with cancer or other terminal illnesses. It has to raise £2 million a year to provide its services.
