North West Arts Board (NWAB) has simplified its funding schemes to meet the needs of individual artists and arts organisations for activity from April 2002.

North West Arts Board (NWAB) has simplified its funding schemes to meet the needs of individual artists and arts organisations for activity from April 2002.

There are two main schemes: Project Funding for Individuals and Project Funding for Arts Organisations.

To qualify for funding from NWAB, applicants have to live or work in the North West Arts Board region which covers Cheshire, Cumbria (from 1st April 2002), Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, the High Peak of Derbyshire (until 31st March 2002) and the unitary authorities of Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Halton and Warrington.
