Small charity jumps into top 30

The Tubney Charitable Trust, a small four-year-old Oxfordshire charity, is now one of the top 30 charities in the UK in terms of donated income. The charity has just received £30 million from the estates of Miles and Briony Blackwell, of the Blackwell family publishing business. It will receive a further £20 million from another family trust.

It will receive a further £20 million from another family trust.

Possible grant recipients include the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, and medical charities researching into chemical allergies.
