Charities are still failing to tap into the fresh supply of qualified and professional candidates with the right transferable skills who want to move into the voluntary sector, says Sarah Hands, Marketing and Fundraising Consultant at Charity People. “Approximately 60% of Charity People’s candidates are from outside the sector” she says, “and [they] are rethinking the reasons for working in the industry they are currently in.”
