Charities keep track of donors with ihavemoved.com

Howard Lake | 6 July 2001 | News

Ihavemoved.com, the change of address service, is helping charities and alumni organisations keep track of members’ and supporters’ new address details.

Over 40 UK charities have already taken advantage of the change of address notification service offered by ihavemoved.com.

People who moved house or change address can use the free Web service to notify utility and finance companies of their new address in one easy go. Now charities and educational institutions have joined as partners so they too can be notified of address changes.

Notifications are only sent if the person changing address asks for an organisation to be informed.

Ihavemoved.com has already engaged in some charity fundraising for Shelter. In January 2001 the company pledged to donate money to Shelter for every new user registering on the site. Read Ihavemoved.com offers to help Shelter at Ananova.com.
