Celebrities are to auction their pants online for Comic Relief
This year’s Comic Relief theme of “Say pants to poverty” is to result,predictably enough, in an auction of celebrities’ pants. The undergarments will be auctioned online on Freeserve’s auction site. Supporters will be able to bid online for pants donated and designed by Gail Porter, Davina

The auction was initiative by Persil, which will be donating an expected £300,000 to Comic Relief from the sale of Comic Relief-branded packs of washing powder and liquid. The company is also sponsoring the Persil Arty Pants Exhibition at Leeds City Art Gallery.
