Comic Relief is aiming to maximise income from sponsored events carried out by fundraising volunteers this year by including a Gift Aid tick-box on all donation forms.

Comic Relief is aiming to maximise income from sponsored events carried out by fundraising volunteers this year by including a Gift Aid tick-box on all donation forms.

The red box is highlighted on the form and is headed by a clear “very important” graphic. The text reads: “Very important box. Please tick if you would like to reclaim the tax on your donation. Costs you nothing, earns us lots.”

The accompanying fields on the sponsor form are name, full address including postcode, total amount sponsored, and total received.” You can see a copy of the sponsorship form in The Red Nose Fundraising Pack, available for 30p from Sainsbury’s.
