Visual Gift Aid from Westwood Forster

Howard Lake | 15 December 2000 | News

Westwood Forster have announced Visual Gift Aid, an application that is designed to allow charities to claim Gift Aid tax relief from the Inland Revenue for any donation provided the donor is a taxpayer. It can be used on its own or alongside a charity’s existing system.

Visual Gift Aid can handle both written and oral declarations (mandates). When an oral declaration is received, the donor must be sent a confirmation letter giving a 30 day “cooling off” period. Visual Gift Aid allows you to record all the relevant dates to be able to track the oral declaration, and enables you to generate declaration and confirmation letters.
