The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) has launched the Scottish charity law consultation Web site. It is an online consultation system for voluntary organisations across Scotland to give their views on the key issue of charity law reform.
Apart from the need for a modern definition of charity, issues already identified by the sector include the absence of adequate fundraising regulations, the lack of a register of charities in Scotland, and advice and ./guidance needed by voluntary managers.
