According to a new report launched today which investigates the philanthropy of executives in the FTSE 350 companies, business leaders make a vital contribution to the UK’s voluntary sector. The value of their time could potentially be worth as much as £3 million every year.

Making time for charity, published by Charities Aid Foundation and sponsored by Deloitte & Touche, outlines the contribution made by the UK’s top business leaders in detail. It explores the reasons why these influential people make time for charity; how much time they give; and the benefits to themselves, the charity and their company.
